Elizabeth Ryterski

Meet Elizabeth, a REALTOR® and the “E” of E and L Team 

Elizabeth and her husband were born and raised in Southern Illinois. Elizabeth attended the University of Illinois and Southern Illinois University, receiving a math degree in 1992. After moving from Southern Illinois to Boulder County in 1994, Elizabeth taught secondary math for five years. She then spent 12 years at home with her three children. In 2009, she began working at RE/MAX Alliance of Boulder with Team Mazur, first as an assistant and then as a broker. In 2015, Elizabeth joined forces and partnered with Laura to form E and L Team at RE/MAX Elevate.  

Elizabeth enjoys spending time away from real estate watching movies and doing Liberty puzzles with friends and family, traveling to Disney with her husband and kids, serving her church, and volunteering within her community.

Laura Shaffer

Meet Laura, a REALTOR®, and the “L” of E and L Team 

Laura and her husband grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In 1996, she moved out to Colorado to enjoy the sunshine and to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis in Computer Science.  Laura started working in 2000 at McKesson as a programmer of hospital software. Four years later, when her first of three children were born, she began her next career as a stay-at-home mom for 12 years. Having lived in Boulder, Superior, Erie and now Louisville, she has been proud to call Boulder County “home” for the last 24 years. With an eye always on the local real estate market, her next path led to a career in real estate working with Elizabeth as her agent assistant and home stager, then as a broker and partner at E and L Team at RE/MAX Elevate.

When she’s away from the office, Laura enjoys volunteering at Louisville’s Friday Night Street Faires, cheering on the CU Buffaloes and the Packers with her husband during football season, going to CU basketball games, hiking with friends in the foothills of Boulder, watching movies with her three kids, and dreaming of her next vacation to Costa Rica or the Virgin Islands. 

Jennifer Boll

Meet Jennifer, the Operations Manager for E and L Team

Jennifer has Midwestern roots, as well, having grown up in Wisconsin. She attended the University of St Thomas in Minnesota where she earned a BA in Psychology. She moved to Boulder County in 2000 and then obtained a Paralegal Certificate and worked part-time at law firms for 16 years while raising her two sons. In 2017, Jennifer transitioned to real estate and joined E and L Team as an assistant. She is currently their Operations Manager charged with coordinating successful transactions, as well as providing supportive services to clients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and kayaking with her husband and dog, traveling with her family, and reading a good book at home in Lafayette. 

Melissa Murray

Meet Melissa, E and L Team’s Licensed REALTOR® Assistant

Melissa is a Costa Rican native who fell in love with CO when she first visited the state as a teenager for her brother’s graduation from CSU. In 2018, she finally traded the beach and rainforest for the Rocky Mountains and established her home in Erie, along with her husband and two sons. Leaving her legal career behind was an easy choice for her once she found her passion for real estate. Her 15 years of communication and negotiating skills as an immigration attorney are now one of her greatest assets when helping buyers and sellers throughout a transaction. Plus being fully bilingual can sometimes come in handy too! As E and L Team’s licensed assistant, Melissa is instrumental in putting the finishing touches on E and L Team’s listings and is there to promptly help our buyers compete in our brisk and often competitive real estate market. Spending time with her family fills her heart and brings her happiness but she also enjoys CrossFit, camping, and snowboarding. She also loves talking about Costa Rica and the “Pura Vida” lifestyle to anyone who is planning to visit or just curious about her native country.
